BMW: Drove to Los Angeles, bad noise in rear, referred to well regarded shop nearby, 10 years later still with them.
BMW: A Daughter at school in VA, bad noise when moving, found shop in area and handled diag and repair.
MB: Trip to Northern VA, alternator issue that dealer corrected. Informed her the differential had leaks (we knew about slight normal seepage) . Frightened her with dire prediction. Instructed them the check level: full. No repair needed.
